Unless you live under a rock, you have heard about the earthquake here in Virginia that was felt up and down the east coast. I was at work visiting another department, and we were in a room with several kids in wheelchairs who outnumbered the staff in the room. It was scary for a moment because we weren’t sure if we were going to need to move all the kids or stay put. Anyway, that’s my little earthquake story.
This picture (no I didn’t take it) shows the seismic activity. It comes from the Richmond Times-Dispatch website. (8/23) It shows the readings from a seismograph at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA about 85 miles southwest from the epicenter.
