Surprisingly, this funny is a quote from former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt:
“I once had a rose named after me and I was very flattered. But I was not pleased to read the description in the catalogue: no good in bed, but fine up against a wall.”

Do you feel better after having a good laugh? Much like the good cry, a good laugh has purging properties. It can cause you to release bad feelings or to express great joy. Much like a good meal, a good laugh is meant to be shared with friends. It can serve as the certerpiece or it can be paired with a favorite dessert, but it will always be enjoyed.
There have been numerous articles written about the healing powers of laughter, and this is what I know for sure – if you feel bad, there’s nothing better than a side-splitting giggle fit with your best friend to lighten your mood. But seriously, studies have shown that laughter can lower your heart and blood pressure. It can also reduce the constriction in your blood vessels, and help improve your mental health. So watch a sitcom, talk to a good friend or whatever else makes you laugh, and enjoy life!
